Start with the actual machine, not the brand name
"Trimble" on its own is not enough to confirm compatibility. What matters is the display model, the receiver model, whether the machine already uses NTRIP, and what correction source it is on now.
The cleanest changeovers are usually where the machine already accepts RTCM3 over internet/4G. Older setups using radio RTK, CMR, RTX or another workflow may still be possible, but they need checking before anyone promises a simple plug-and-play result.
What to check on a Trimble setup
- Display model and receiver model
- Current correction source — RTX, VRS, radio RTK or other
- Whether NTRIP settings already exist on the machine
- Whether 4G data is already available in the cab
- What unlocks or options are already active
What to send us
The fastest way to get a proper answer is to email:
- a photo of the display home screen
- a photo of the RTK or correction settings page
- the receiver model if it is visible
- whether you are trying to replace RTX, VRS or another service
That is enough for us to say whether the route looks straightforward, needs more checks, or is the wrong fit.
Moving from RTX
The question is not whether RTX is good or bad. It is whether your machine can instead use NTRIP RTK from a farm base setup and whether that makes more financial sense for your farm.
Moving from VRS
If you currently rely on a network correction service, we check whether a base-plus-network arrangement is a better long-term fit.
Moving from radio RTK
Older radio workflows can still be workable, but they are not automatically a straight NTRIP swap. That needs checking first.
Trimble compatibility FAQ
Will any Trimble machine work?
No. It depends on the actual hardware and setup.
Can you tell from one photo?
Sometimes, but the more useful photos are the display model and RTK settings pages.
Do you support mixed fleets?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons farms move to this sort of setup.

Need a proper answer?
Send the machine details and we will tell you whether the route looks right.
