The RTK Solutions base station is supplied configured and ready for mains power and wired Ethernet as the primary internet connection. Integrated 4G provides backup/failover if the Ethernet connection is interrupted. The antenna is mounted securely at the farm with clear sky view, allowing the base to generate corrections for compatible tractors through NTRIP.

The first year includes the physical base station and the initial service. The price falls in Years 2 and 3 because you are no longer buying the hardware again.
Year 1 · £850 + VAT
Receive the configured base station, connect mains power and wired Ethernet, install the antenna and activate farm-wide NTRIP access. The integrated 4G connection is retained as backup/failover.
Year 2 · £650 + VAT
Continue with the same farm coverage, RTK Solutions network access, support and monitoring at the reduced loyalty price.
Year 3+ · £450 + VAT
Move to the final loyalty tier. From then on the annual price is intended to change only with inflation.

What the farm needs before installation
A base station is straightforward, but positioning and connectivity matter. A poor antenna location or unstable power supply will undermine otherwise good RTK hardware.

Which option is cheaper?
Farm base or Base-Free RTK
The farm base remains the priority product because it usually becomes better value once more than one compatible machine needs RTK around the same farm. The base-free licence is the sensible alternative for one tractor or frequent travel.

Farm RTK base station FAQs
Is the price per tractor?
No. The farm base subscription is charged per farm base station. Multiple compatible machines can use the farm correction service through NTRIP.
What is included in Year 1?
The configured base station hardware, network access and setup support are included. The site still requires power, connectivity and a suitable antenna installation.
Will it work with different brands?
Usually, provided the receiver supports standard NTRIP RTK, has the required unlocks and can accept the correction format. Compatibility is checked before supply.
Does it always cover 35 km?
No. That is a typical maximum working range, not a guarantee. Distance, receiver quality, correction geometry, local interference and conditions all matter.
What happens if the base fails?
The wider network is designed with nearby mountpoints and redundancy. RTK Solutions can also remotely diagnose and manage supported base hardware.
What is the first-year guarantee?
If the system does not perform as expected during the first year, the installation can be returned for a full refund under the stated terms. Damage and misuse may be excluded.
