Guaranteed farm-base range: 35 km; 45 km is a calculated example. Calculated from our stated specification, using tractor-to-base distance with a properly configured RTK FIX in suitable conditions. This formula applies to our farm-base setup. Installation and field conditions matter for both services.
One farm base. Multiple tractors.
Four tractors over five years: £3,791 + VAT for our managed farm-base package, versus £13,000 + VAT for four RTX Fast licences at the cited £650 annual price. Assumes unchanged prices and eligible equipment. These package totals exclude any required receiver activations, installation, connection hardware and data costs.
Includes base hardware, first-year network access, remote configuration and calibration. Renewals cover managed network access, monitoring and support. Our corrections use internet-based NTRIP. Compatible RTK-enabled receivers and a suitable tractor data connection are required; receiver unlocks, modem/data and installation work are separate where needed.
One tractor, no farm base? Base-Free RTK is £400 + VAT per tractor/year, using NTRIP and a suitable data connection.
Before switching
How long does our repeatability last?
Our farm-base setup is designed for effectively indefinite repeatability through a maintained local reference accounting for shared tectonic plate movement. Antenna position, reference coordinates, saved guidance and machine calibration must stay consistent. How long-term repeatability works.
Can my Trimble receiver use your corrections?
It needs the required RTK activation, compatible RTCM support and an NTRIP connection. An RTX subscription alone does not establish compatibility. See our Trimble compatibility guide.
Will my saved guidance lines stay aligned?
We check the existing reference before changing services. Stable coordinates, antenna installation, saved lines and machine calibration support long-term repeatability.
