Looking for Fendt RTK subscriptions or “RTK+” packages?
Fendt guidance installations may use NovAtel or Trimble receivers and can be configured for different accuracy levels. Some are using satellite corrections, while RTK-capable versions can receive ground-based corrections through radio or a mobile NTRIP connection.
We check the receiver family, the active accuracy level and the available communications route. If an RTK activation or modem is still required, that is identified before an RTK Solutions correction option is recommended.

Plug-and-play deployment
Install the base with suitable mains power and either Ethernet or Wi-Fi. The PoE adapter is included, while the internal battery and 4G connection provide backup. We then remotely configure the base and calibrate its position against the Ordnance Survey network.

Identify the Fendt receiver first
VarioGuide and Fendt Guide have been supplied with different receiver generations. The terminal may look similar even when the fitted GNSS hardware and enabled correction services are different.

NTRIP versus satellite corrections on Fendt
Satellite services and network RTK are different correction sources. A receiver currently using a satellite plan is not automatically ready for NTRIP, even if the display shows centimetre-level guidance options.
For a compatible RTK receiver, NTRIP carries the RTCM stream over mobile internet. We provide the network login and help confirm that the receiver reaches RTK FIX before repeatable work begins.
Mixed Fendt fleets
Each receiver generation is checked separately. One compatible tractor does not prove that an older or differently specified Fendt has the same activations.

Can both NovAtel and Trimble Fendt receivers use RTK?
RTK versions exist for both families, but the fitted receiver, licences and correction input must be confirmed on the individual machine.
Will you tell me if an unlock is required?
Yes. We separate the RTK Solutions network charge from any manufacturer activation or hardware that the tractor still needs.
